Anne, Niagara Falls:
I understand that using a cell phone while driving is dangerous, especially
text messaging. But I also feel that lighting a cigarette, changing a CD or
driving with a pet on your lap are all just as hazardous. Along with this, you
have eating, applying makeup and reading. I recently saw a woman with a cell
phone in one hand and a cigarette in the other, while she was driving! Can
someone please explain the difference in these circumstances? How can you get
fined for one, and not the others?
