Bob,
Lancaster:
Mr. Supervisor of Lancaster. Even though you had the endorsement of three
parties and had your campaign signs all over town, you won by only 1,740 votes
over your opponent who was unknown and never campaigned. Doesn't this tell you
something? It tells me and many more like me that we don't like the manner in
which Lancaster is being run. It tells me that the 3,768 votes your unknown
opponent received were not so much votes for him, but rather votes against you
and your administration. In the future, please consider the people's concerns
and ideas.
Alice,
Lancaster:
Regarding building a bandstand for the Lancaster Band. Consider this –
let each household send in $1 per family member, (these people are going to
enjoy the music) and have businesses donate free or the cost of the material.
Then set a few dates when people can come together and help build, similar to
the way Habitat for Humanity does.
