Inside Sales-Part Time
An exciting part time position with The Metro Group exists. Currently, 3 days per week, 8:30 to 5 pm. However, flexibility to change schedule to accommodate business volume and staffing is needed.
The right candidate will assist customers with their classified advertising needs, sell advertising packages, place reminder calls to our customers and prospect new customers. Ideal candidate will have solid PC and keyboarding skills to input advertising copy.
Must have a pleasant telephone voice with strong oral and inter-
personal communication skills. Accuracy in spelling, grammar and
punctuation necessary. Professional appearance is needed.

The Right Stuff
In this role, you will prospect for, qualify and contact businesses of all types and sizes and introduce them to Metro Group’s many advertising opportunities including print and
on-line advertising space, event and promotional sponsorships, insert distribution and mailing services. If you have 1 or more years of inside B-2-B sales experience, have documented success selling under a quota system, are a wizard with PowerPoint, Excel and Word and believe you have what it takes to sell advertising space and related services to business owners and decision-makers in WNY, we want to hear from you. Previous advertising sales experience HIGHLY preferred.

Internet Advertising Sales Representative (Outside Sales)
Position Description:
Outside Sales representative presenting and selling advertising products made available by the Metro Group Inc family of website properties including metrownycars.com and metrowny.com
Successful candidate will have a proven track record of outside sales in advertising and online arena. Candidate must be a self-motivated individual with strong communication, presentation and sales skills.
Must possess own vehicle for use when making sales calls.

Experience:
Prior proven experience in outside sales is a must. Sales relating to online or other digital media advertising preferred.
